Hi! I’m Dr. Angela McKiernan, I am a board certified Doctor of Acupuncture, a Clincial Aesthetician and currently a Manual Osteopath Student.
My journey to improve my health and quality of life led me to my first Acupuncture appointment which opened me up to a whole new world of holistic wellbeing. I instantly became fascinated with all things TCM. I bought books and started to soak up as much knowledge about this ancient healing modality at the same time I had been contemplating a different career path after making the decision to close down the small fitness studio I ran and so a dream was born! I immediately enrolled to study at the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
I am extremely fascinated with all areas of Acupuncture and TCM but have special interest in Women’s Health Issues, Fertility and Pain Management while in school I also became fascinated with Cosmetic Acupuncture, I’ve always been extremely diligent with my own skin care and this natural way to heal the skin really spoke to me. I wanted to learn more so I decided to also complete my Diploma in Clinical Aesthetics expanding my offerings to include Micro-needling, Dermaplaning, Chemical Peels and Custom Facials, Laser Skin Rejuvenation, Oxygeneo Facial and Laser Hair Removal!
I am a proud mom, lover all things health and fitness and love being outdoors, if I’m not in the clinic treating patients you will most likely find me in a gym, on a ball diamond or at a hockey arena watching one of the many sports our children play. We reside just outside of Three Hills where my partner Steve operates a grain and cattle farm
